The Solution: HYDR8

The scorching heat in Delhi isn’t only a topic for discussion in homes, but is the reason behind innumerable hospital visits by people through the year (especially during the summer months). Dehydration is a condition that can occur when the loss of body fluids, mostly water, exceeds the amount that is taken in. With dehydration, more water is moving out of individual cells and then out of the body than the amount of water that is taken in through drinking. Dehydration is common during the summer months in India, especially amongst athletes and daily-wage labourers. The HYDR8 campaign aims to address the issues people face because of being unaware about the effects of dehydration. We do this by holding camps in construction sites across Delhi-NCR, where we distribute electrolyte and disseminate information.
